Horrorfest...The Many Deaths Of Ian Stone

April 9th 2008 23:41

After Dark Films aka Lions Gate has released there series again for the second year. The 8 films to die for, Horrorfest which comes out every November. When this started in 2006. 8 films were chossen, to be seen such films like ( Penny Dreadful, The Gravedancers, Dark Ride) some better then others. (My favs listed.) Anyway, was hoping that next year would be better. Which I have to say, I just have to say that if I see one more film. this year would have been better then last. So far, I have seen " Nightmare man, Crazy Eights, Mulberry Street, and The Many Deaths of Ian Stone."

NIGHTMARE MAN--- If you the slasher era, then this is not the film for you. It's not a film with a body count. it's a film that is a rip off from the series called " Night of the Demons" The only thing that I did like form this film and I will believe that most of the lesbain crowd would agree with me is the heroine. The girl is a sence stealer but she does kick ass. Funny, witty, and makes the film at least enjoyable. so if you have a dollar rental at your local Redbox and it's there. Take the chance. It could be worst...It could be the remake of April Fool's Day!

CRAZY EIGHTS--- HOLY SHIT... Who knew that Tracy Lords could act, and good without sucking on someones well you know!!! Yes the famous porn star is in this film with such famous names as Dina Meyer and Dan Deluca. Now, I seen this film on the big screen and well, it was a good shot. This film has a creepy flow. Giving the viewer the main point, your not getting away. With that said just reading the back of the DVD cover and knowing that no body survives. You can draw a mental picture of what the film is about. Rent it for Tracy Lords, who knew that sucking DI & K could get you so far!!!

MULBERRY STREET--- RUN FOR YOUR LIFE IT"S ATTCK OF THE RAT PEOPLE!!!! AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!! And if you have ever been on Mulberry Street in NYC, you think maybe this story could have been based on actual events. LOL. With all honesty, this film is just like any survial movie. But have to say very good with effects. Those who love gore would feel not robbed. Also I even have to say. The symbolic endding made me feel good. far fetched but hey we are talking about people turning into rat people, how far fetched can we get. Give it a chance better then most!!!

THE MANY DEATHS OF IAN STONE--- The best of all the rest. Something I was not expecting. The effects was why I wanted to see this film but after Buying this DVD, I would watch it again and again. It had plot, it had depth, and it had good looking characters who can act. This is the film many men would bring there girlfriends too and would get brownie points after they see it together. Why, 2 reason. Not that much gore. They use the seggestion tech. Number two...It' has a romeo and juliet sub plot. This is one of those films that does not get the reconzined for it's enterainment value. Pick this one up...you and your honey, Will be Impressed!!
