Horror Horror - by Michelle-Gellar

DAY OF THE DEAD "REMAKE"

April 26th 2008 14:51
They did it again!!! No No No NO NO NO!!! AHHHHH!!! Why WHY GOD, in George A. Romero name did you do this !" Thank god I only rented it for a dollar ! ( THANK YOU, REDBOX !) In this sabotage of a remake gone straight to video. Well do I really have to explain it to you since we all know what the hell this film is about. And if you don't know, let me spell it out for you. MINDLESS ENTERTAINMENT, OF ZOMBIES EATTING PEOPLE. "Run for your lives....AHHHHHH!"

Here is the plot, the army comes to small Colorado "Shithole "town, knowing that a plauge of airboure infectious death is the only way to contain it. Suprise, it gets out of control and everyone go's into a panic running for there lives, survival for the fittest ! Mena Suvari , ( American Pie, Who I love ! ) stars with Ving Rhames, (Needed the part, I guess.) Directed by Steve Miner, (Must be hurting for work.)

Now, the Fu@k where do I begin raggin on this film first? To be on point bad jokes and puns, old concepts used again mixed with new concepts from the Dawn of the Dead Remake, which made a splash in the box office. Bad actting from most of the cast and CGI effects that you can tell just by a blink of the eye. The only thing you can get out of this horrible film, is a good sense of gore.

Yes it's one of those point less gory films with tacky computer effects but the bugget was mostly spent on blood and make up. Even though, gore fans will get a kick out of it. it's nothing like anyone of the George A Romero classics. This remake bit the big one and eveyone knows about it. Scrap this one and spend your dollar on the candy for your next horror selection. It's not worth it.

To the fellow bloggers who have seen this film tell me your opinion, as I always welcome all peoples points. maybe I'm missing something. Maybe others feel that this was a execellent film. But with all the great zombie films that are out there I highly doubt it. even Land of the Dead was better ! Well moving along to the next blog...but before that I mention something about The top 4 or 5 Horrible Horror Movies of all time!

I need everyone's help on this one and would like people and bloggers to post up what they think are some horrible horror movies. Now and then, past and present. it don't matter. I do have some but would like more of the people's opinon. Nothing like group interaction, look how the zombies like it they are all center to one purpose goal and they achieve it. Guess, that old saying is true. " DON ' T UNDER ESTATMATE DUMB AND STUPID PEOPLE IN LARGE GROUPS !"
