QUICK ! SOMEONE CALL HUGH HEFNER ! IT'S THE HORROR COMEDY TITY FILM OF THE YEAR !
Now, I am not going to rag on this film to much because this film most likely had one to many rags on set. If you catch my drift. Someone please pass the tampons! " The Slaughter" At first made me want to pass it on and pass out . Knowing by looks at the cheap artwork cover. That this film had to stayed buried. As they say though, nothing stays dead and buried for long.
Thanks, to FEAR.NET they had brought the movie back from the rotting grave. This horror-comedy which is a Wantabe generic rip off of The Evil Dead. Jay Lee, Wrote and Directed this "Hustler" master peice. With that said though, the film is noticed though not for it's okay actting cast but for it's "Deadacation" of hard work in the special effects department. Oddly weird and great if you were tripping on laced up acidtic pot.
Starring Jessica Custodio as Dana and Zak Kilberg as Iggy. ( Who must had been in Playboy Mansion heaven ! ) Knew that this film would have been nothing but fun times. What I liked about this film, is that the actting was not suppose to be funny. That it just came out that way. Another is the cute but witty comments this stereotypical horror film had. Same rules apply to this film then any other.
The plot, When six college students take a job cleaning up an abandoned house their plans to work hard by day and play hard by night are interrupted when they awake an ancient evil demon. ( The Internet Movie Database.) Alot of kills for you gore fans out there and I have to say this to those who like gore as much as Tom Savini. Check out the death sences for Stony boi, Razz. You will never go near a hatch again. Also, Brandon's death sence. Mr. Jock boi. Now, he knows what it feels like to be Santa.
Even though, this film is a rip off like I said before. It also should be noticed for it's cute but used over and over again endding. Somehow, it worked for this film and it leaves you not feeling so pissed. Unless, you actually paid nine bucks to see this film in the movies. Then I order you to go get your refund.
So with that said to the least if your looking for a great film check somewhere's else. Remember it's a cheap horror film not a big buget master peice. If your looking for a film to stare and point at. Get your hard on fix, get stone and watch with your fellow horney friends. Then you will like this one as far as much as those bad " Wicthcraft " films. Hey, this is a required taste for some.
